Durham & District Riding Club

We aim to offer fun and education for horse owners and non-horse owners alike, from the happy hacker to the competitive rider. All are welcome, and there is something great planned for everyone.

We are affiliated to British Riding Clubs, enabling us to compete against other Clubs in the area. If you would like to represent the Club at Area 2 competitions, as an individual or a member of a team, please contact Vikkie to chat about what you'd like to participate in. Anybody can represent the Club - nobody will be turned down.

Future events include educational sessions with nutritionalists, equine dentists, physiotherapists, osteopaths, hoof practitioners, and many more. We organise events throughout the District, so you can join in whether or not you have transport, or own a horse.

Members benefit from reduced fees to educational demos, talks, courses, trips and tuition.

Also to come: more demonstrations, groundwork/riding tuition, stable management sessions, inter-club competitions, pleasure rides, country rides, social gatherings including organized trips to events, and riding clinics and seminars.

Adults, juniors, riders and non-riders are all welcome.
